Gas spring noiseless, durable, safe!
During the development of the SMARTBett® everything was considered and optimized further and further. This created a murphy bed that is unrecognizable as such when folded, yet is as functional and comfortable as can be. But closet beds are difficult and tedious to handle, right? Not the SMARTBett®: Thanks to specially developed, powerful gas pressure springs, folding and unfolding is child’s play, fast and also noiseless.
To ensure that the slatted frame remains in position during this movement, it is firmly integrated into the frame. The SMARTBett® holds any standard mattress in the respective dimensions (up to a thickness of 17mm).

Gas springs
With the new gas springs, the murphy bed opens and closes easily and silently.
The front can be lowered slowly with the help of the gas struts and requires almost no support as well as minimal effort.
Due to the processing, the wear of gas springs is much lower compared to conventional metal springs.
Soft closing & opening
The gas springs take over a large part of the effort. When opening and closing, simply let go of the front, from a certain point and the gas struts will finish the process
Melamine coating
Chipboard (16-22 mm thick) with a high-quality coating of melamine, which is characterized by its insensitivity to scratches and high temperatures, form the front of the murphy bed.
Robust construction
Chipboard elements with a thickness of 16-22mm, sturdy screws and cabinet connectors, and metal and steel mechanisms form the cornerstone of the final product murphy bed. With the certain regular care, they allow a long life.
Load capacity up to 300 kg
Load capacity up to 300kg Steel feet and a sophisticated slatted frame construction create a large load capacity. The load capacity includes the weight of the mattress used.
More storage comfort
With the newly installed shelf you have the opportunity to store pictures of their loved ones, the alarm clock or even the one or the other book in their murphy bed, so that they lack nothing in the morning and evening.
Fastening belt for bed linen
With the help of the straps you can lash their bedding and the mattress before closing. Please note that the bedding should not be too thick. We therefore do not assume any warranty for this.
Ventilation
To ensure continuous ventilation of the mattress, special openings were installed. These allow additional air flow and breathing of the mattress.
Classic slatted frame on wood and metal frame
40 springwood slats made of beech with a width of 53mm each and a thickness of 8mm, as well as a slat spacing of 42mm ensure a comfortable sleep.
In the SMARTBett slatted frame, the springwood slats are inserted into standard brackets and provide good lying comfort.
The holders are made of plastic and are characterized by good grip and stability.

The new SMARTBett Comfort slatted frame with 38mm wide and 8mm thick beechwood slats and specially developed spring support offers an even better sleeping experience.
The bar spacing is 42mm for a total of 60 bars. Each spring holder holds two bars.
The rubber suspension on the brackets creates an orthopedic effect, whereby the weight of the body can be distributed even better point by point.
The additional suspension mainly causes higher flexibility, such as that of a rolling grate.

An additional shelf in front of the lower shelf prevents pillows from falling into the back of the bed.
